I have been working with the Humane Society of Indianapolis for 6 years. I have raised over 13,000$, fostered over 50 animals, and worked with the Indiana Fever to crate the fundraiser Hoops for Hounds.
I am very passionate about what I do. I am also very good at seeing both sides of an argument. I also have a lot of support.

They are struggling financially and can’t afford to take care of them, they are moving, their homes are too crowded, they can’t handle the responsibilities, landlords forcing them no get rid of pets, personal problems, inadequate facilities, behavioral issues, allergies, etc. However the main cause for surrendering an animals is moving.
Shelters are overwhelmed because of the large amounts of animals coming to them with not enough resources to take care of them.
